IIT Goa is conducting the admission process for its M.Tech program (regular category) via the Common
Online Application Portal (COAP). If seats remain vacant after the last round of COAP admissions, the
institute plans to conduct an ONLINE SPOT ROUND for filling up the vacant seats. Information about
the number of vacant seats (if any) will be uploaded on the IIT Goa website after the last COAP round.

ELIGIBILITY
Persons who have already applied via IIT Goa’s M.Tech admission portal in Category
A (Regular/IIT B.Tech) satisfying the eligibility criteria specified in the advertisement
and have a valid application number are eligible to register for the spot round.

TENTATIVE DATES
a. The registration portal for the spot round would be announced and active AFTER
16th August 2020.
b. The spot round would be conducted in an ONLINE mode in the time period from 24-
28 August 2020.
