Seat Allotment

The authorities will release the CG PET 2021 seat allotment in online mode. The authorities will release the result of seat allotment after every round of counselling. Candidates will be able to check their results through the official website. Candidates will also have to download their seat allotment letter from the website. Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to report the allotted institute to confirm their admission along with the seat allotment letter.

Counseling Procedure

Stage 1

Registration

JEE Main or CG PET qualified candidates have to register for the counselling process through the official website of Department of Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment, Raipur, Government of Chattisgarh. Those who successfully register for the CG PET counselling process are the ones who will be allowed to take part in the further rounds of the admission process

Stage 2

Filling Online Application Form

In this stage, the registered candidates have to provide their basic personal details asked for in the application form like name, correspondence address, date of birth, email, previous academic records etc. 

Stage 3

Option Filling

In this stage, the candidates have to provide their college options from the list of colleges available in decreasing order of priority. There are no limits to the maximum number of choices which the candidates can fill. They can modify their choices after each round of the seat allocation process. After the final submission, the candidates have to take a printout of the same for future reference

Eligibility Criteria

  • The detailed eligibility criteria for B.Tech admission in the state of Chattisgarh have been discussed below - 

    • Applicants must be at least class XIIth qualified from any recognized Board

    • Applicants must have studied Physics, Mathematics and Business Studies/Engineering Graphics/Agriculture/Informatics Practices/Information Technology/Computer Science/Any Technical Vocational Subject/biology/Biotechnology/Chemistry at the qualifying exam level

    • Applicants must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics and Business Studies/Engineering Graphics/Agriculture/Informatics Practices/Information Technology/Computer Science/Any Technical Vocational Subject/biology/Biotechnology/Chemistry subjects combined (45% for reserved category candidates)

    • Applicants must have secured at least passing marks in all the three subjects separately
